Agility
This inspired equestrian discipline, is generally to all dogs apporpriated, regardless of format.
Everyone can exercise this sport in terms of its aspirations ...

Agility.

The lure coursing.
The lure coursing is a relatively recent event in 1993, where the dog goes a lure on a natural ground for 1 to 3 hectares in contrast to the racing that takes place on race track, golf "no surprises "...
This is a simulation of hunting the hare with obstacles, vegetation and elevation.
Indeed, used for a long time to hunt for game in the open, the dogs were not allowed to hunt hare in France in May 1844 under Napoleon.
This sport allows to preserve and develop their skills of hunters.
The decoy, driven by a pulley system, makes zigzags simulate as closely as the escape of a hare.
Pulleys, set in the ground, allow the passage of a rope pulled by a machine at the end of which is attached a lure made of strips of plastic in bright colors and a piece of rabbit skin, the whole being driven by a leurriste.
The coursing events are organized in a natural setting.
The course exploits the potential of the field (an area of 2 hectares minimum desirable).
Altitude, vegetation, natural obstacles (bushes, rivers) or man can make a winding course covering 600 to 750 meters for small breeds and from 700 to 900 meters for large breeds.
The competitions are reserved for greyhounds.
But other races are generally accepted for during training gallops appreciated.

The Bedlington Terrier
The Bedlington Terrier is original and graceful.
It has a strong character and a good hunting instinct impregnated.

Thanks to its morphological and temperament, the Bedlington excels in different disciplines and canine activities.
The brush every 2 to 3 days and then comb the hair in the opposite direction will allow it to maintain a quality characteristic dress.
Grooming scissors every 6 to 8 weeks is to be expected due to its continuous growth of hair.
Because of its rarity and originality, it is not always easy to find a professional knowing properly groom a Bedlington.

IMPORTANT !
The Bedlington Terrier is subject to a specific disease, called "Copper toxicosis" or "disease of copper."
It is characterized by retention of copper in the liver and brain. The dogs with this disease will die prematurely in pain.
Any breeder worth the name must guarantee the transparency of the degree of infection as possible of the puppy's parents.
Screening for this defect is through a DNA test of the puppy.
You must know the meaning of the following:
